I love green smoothies so much, and this fantastic green smoothie with pears recipe is an awesome way to start the day!  This recipe is perfect because it’s not too sweet, it has just the right combination of fruits and veggies.  I love pear season in the late summer, so if you have extra pears around you have to try blending them in a smoothie.

I like blending better than juicing because of the awesome fiber you get from the fruits and vegetables. Stay satisfied with this delicious smoothie made with fresh, frozen, or canned pears!

Pear Shake Recipes

Since pears are so fibrous, you need a good blender to make a smooth and creamy drink.

I recommend using a good-quality high speed blender for this recipe. I have a fantastic Vitamix blender, which I have been using for years, and it gets daily use in our home.

Choose a blender that has a lot of power, and can pulverize even the toughest of ingredients. My blender can chop ice, dates, frozen fruits, make soups, and even blend nuts into homemade nut butter. Using a good high-speed blender will make perfectly creamy smoothies and sauces every time!
