What’s In This Air Fried Snap Peas Recipe?
See the recipe card below for full ingredient amounts and recipe instructions!
- Shishito Peppers – I used ones fresh from the garden. If you can find them in season, try local ones.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: I like to use this fruity olive oil which has a fantastic flavor and deep color- it’s inexpensive & I like to keep a few liters stocked up in my pantry. For the quality of oil you get, it’s an excellent value.
- Toasted Sesame Oil: The sesame oil gives the perfect toasty flavor to the peppers.
- Garlic Salt: for a sprinkle of flavor and saltiness, which is really great on the peas!
- Lemon Juice – for a little extra pop of flavor at the end.
How To Air Fry Shishito Peppers
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, toasted sesame oil, garlic salt, and shishito peppers. Toss well to combine.
- Place the peppers in the hot air fryer basket (or air fryer rack, depending on your model).
- Set air fryer to 400 degrees, and cook for 6 minutes. Halfway through cooking, shake well.
- Once peppers have finished cooking, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the peppers, and serve hot!
